2010 Dance & Drama awarded, & Festival

Second position in India-Sri Lanka Festival at Mahabothi Sciety srilankan temple

 

Anagarika Dharmapala’s Celebration was held at Mahabodhi Society (Sri Lankan Temple) in bodhgaya in Sep.2010. 3 students from Surya Bharti School participated in the competition and awarded second position among 35 schools participated from Gaya area. Sri Lankan traditional dances also showed, famous singers sung Buddhism related songs and this program was broadcasted by TV in Sri Lanka. Wonderful performance attracted audience.

 

 

Gold award in 「42nd All India Multi Lingual Short Play & Folk dance Mahotsav」"Cry for Peace", A drama on terror's tragedy. Pray together for peace beyond the difference of religions.

 

 

Our students participated the All India Multi Lingual Short play & Fork dance Mahotsav in Allahabad U.P in Nov. 2010. They played a drama “Heaven and Hell” and a drama “Cry for peace”, and showed march of Surya. It is very surprising that our team got 4 gold awards(Theatre, Mask, Theatre march, Seminar in 10 awards). in first time. They were trained to play with the co-operation of Kala Joti (acting school in Gaya). 3300 students participated in this competition from 24 states all over India.The photo of our team’s drama appeared in many newspapers.

We are very proud of students who played greatly in front of professional audience from all over India.

 

 

El Cantare Festival in December

 

We celebrated El Cantare Festival on 5th Dec.2010. Yuki Inoue (Director of NGO Children Aid) gave a speech about her experience after having faith in El Cantare. Some students deliver speech on Happy Science teaching and Master Okawa. Students played a drama and kathak dance. We announced and celebrated the awards of Multi lingual short play mahotsav. More than 44oo people gathered.
